Make More in America:
Financing for Domestic Manufacturing

EXIM has launched a new tool to unlock financing for American manufacturing – the Make More in America initiative. Designed for companies of all sizes, the first transaction authorized under the initiative will support Aquatech International, a small business based in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania.

The Make More in America initiative is a tool designed to unlock financing for American manufacturing, strengthen America’s global competitiveness, close critical supply chain gaps, and support American jobs. It makes EXIM's existing medium- and long-term loans, loan guarantees, and insurance available to export-oriented domestic manufacturing projects.

This new tool will be open to all sectors, with financing priority available to:

• small businesses
• environmentally beneficial projects
• transformational export area transactions (including semiconductors, biotech and biomedical products, renewable energy, and energy storage).
