All America Initiative
September 30, 2020 Elizabeth Thomas, Vice President, Outreach & Education

In FY 2020, EXIM staff hosted or participated in events to educate businesses of all sizes including small business exporters, state and local government economic development agencies, small business development centers, chambers of commerce, trade associations and other organizations in the 50 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, and five U.S. territories.

EXIM is proud to announce the success of the All America Initiative, a program created to support companies of all sizes throughout the country. Despite the challenges and travel restrictions that arose as a result of COVID-19, EXIM persevered by pivoting to digital tools like webinars and video conferences to ensure that businesses continued to have access to critical products and services.  At times it was a heavy lift, but the reward is knowing that companies are pushing through this difficult time, and that they are taking actions to continue to grow their revenues and sustain jobs nationwide.

Former Congressman, EXIM board member and EXIM small business designee, Spencer Bachus said, “The All America Initiative has been a significant undertaking by EXIM to reach companies of all sizes in the 50 U.S. states, the District of Columbia and five U.S. territories. This project is an example of how EXIM implements its mission to support American workers by facilitating the export of U.S.-made goods and services. EXIM employees engage with businesses every day to educate and inform them of the government resources that are available to help them grow and be part of the global marketplace.”

Schedule a no cost consultation with your local EXIM Regional Director to learn how exporting can drive revenue growth during turbulent times, and join the over 300,000 small businesses that export fearlessly.
