April 14, 2020 Eugene Uhm & Ken Click, Business Development Specialists

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, most Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) employees are teleworking from home and remain prepared to assist you. This includes representatives from EXIM’s Regional Export Finance Centers. Regardless of where your business is located within the United States, there is an EXIM representative specifically dedicated to your geographic area and available to speak with you about your export finance needs.  You can find the contact details for EXIM’s Eastern Region, Central Region, and Western Region office representatives through the links provided.

The COVID-19 pandemic has not only changed the way we live our daily lives, but it has also changed the way we do business now and likely will in the future. EXIM is now 100 percent digital for meetings, events, webinars, and conferences since the COVID-19 pandemic. Adjustments include:

  • More virtual training events and webinars
  • Public board meetings are now only accessible by telephone
  • The EXIM Annual Conference was rescheduled to September 10-11, 2020. At this time, it is still intended to be an in-person event.

Even in these unprecedented times, this has allowed EXIM to maintain a “business as usual” operating status. EXIM is committed to fully supporting American businesses during this pandemic crisis. Existing products and programs have been temporarily expanded to help support the U.S. exporting community and lending partners. These programs are:

In addition, the EXIM Bridge Financing Program was created to help foreign customers of U.S. exporters acquire short-term bridge financing in order to purchase U.S goods and services. Having the ability to maintain the “status-quo” enables EXIM to continue helping American exporters, lenders, and their customers.
